Jonathan Don Manning is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with over a decade of experience, specializing in pornography addiction, trauma hypnotherapy, and emotional healing. His work helps individuals break free from deep-rooted pain, compulsive patterns, and unresolved inner conflict—restoring clarity, peace, and spiritual connection.

His journey into hypnotherapy was built on a strong foundation in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), earning dual certifications in 2012 as an NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Trainer Practitioner under the renowned Dr. Steve G. Jones. This training profoundly shaped Jonathan’s understanding of language and subconscious influence as tools for deep, lasting change. In 2013, he became a Certified Hypnotherapist through the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) under the mentorship of Pattie Freeman, BCHT, further advancing his ability to create transformational results through clinical hypnosis.

Further study with Dr. Mike Mandel, a leading authority on conversational hypnosis and neurological change work, sharpened Jonathan’s ability to facilitate transformation with precision, adaptability, and confidence.

In 2020, he completed advanced clinical training at the Certified Hypnotherapy Training School (CHTS) in Farr West, Utah, under the late W. Dennis Parker, CHT. He was certified as a Positive Mind Management Certified Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioner (PMMCC)—a designation unique to CHTS graduates. This training included proprietary systems such as the *Emotional Skills & Tools of Positive Mind Management* and the *Protocols of Adversarial Resistance*, both of which are now core elements in his clinical work.

For nearly 30 years, Jonathan has studied and applied the Enneagram of Personality to help clients understand the deeper emotional patterns driving their behavior. He now integrates it with Internal Family Systems (IFS)—a powerful, evidence-based approach that works with the emotional “parts” within. Together, these systems have been powerfully transformative for clients dealing with trauma, addiction, and inner conflict. This combined framework allows for uncovering core wounds, dismantling false beliefs, and guiding individuals toward lasting healing with both precision and compassion.

In 2024, he earned additional certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist through the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE), reinforcing his commitment to professional excellence and client care.

Today, Jonathan runs his private practice, Leading Edge Hypnotherapy, specializing in Trauma Hypnotherapy, Pornography Addiction Recovery, and Emotional Healing. His spiritually grounded approach helps clients align their healing journey with their personal faith and values—honoring whatever spiritual path brings peace and purpose.

Continually pursuing growth, Jonathan stays at the forefront of his field by actively studying advanced hypnotherapy methods, and related healing modalities. He is currently developing several book projects that combine clinical insight with spiritual and emotional transformation. Lifelong learning isn’t just a value—it’s a practice that ensures each client receives the most effective, up-to-date care possible.
